A Great Rebuild

Since our last update in February 2023, a lot of has happened. A major event involves an ex-member of our build team. Due to a lack of legal protection on Mesabrook’s end, this member was able to make a legal request to have their builds and artwork removed from the Mesabrook project. This resulted in a sudden, very large setback for our team that we were forced to face. I’m very proud to say that we have done a tremendous job of taking on this challenge and have set ourselves up to prevent this from ever happening again. After the creation of a new Terms Of Service and requiring agreement with it before joining the server, and some new in-game legislation put in place to prune inactive members, we were able to start a mass recruitment effort to help bring new people on to rebuild a lot of our losses.

With our new team, we have crashed together on rebuilding Autumn Valley from the ground up. I’m very proud to say that some of our members have done an incredible job taking this task head-on and we are looking to be in fantastic shape. All roadways have been created and the Iron River & Western railroad has almost completed laying down new rail both within the industrial district and in a new, small interchange yard. Other new businesses now in place in the area include Mesabrook Mob Drops, a Square Creeper gas station, and Autumn Valley Electric power station. Autumn Valley is expected to be the home of an automotive manufacturing plant and a steel plant.

Ravenholm City Recap

1. More housing in Ravenholm City
Since the last update in February, Ravenholm City has developed more housing in the form of The Twins and two new apartment towers nestled on Main Street coming into Rannoch ward.

2. New parking structure in Rannoch ward
The old four-story parking garage nestled next to Ravenholm Heights has been torn down and replaced with a new larger underground parking structure. The land above the parking garage is being rehabilitated into a new public park.

3. Ravenholm City Medical Center
Nestled on the northern outskirts of Sol ward, Ravenholm City Medical Center is Mesabrook’s second (and newest) hospital. RCMC provides everything from emergency care to physicians, surgeries, and even a pharmacy and gift shop.

4. New housing around RCMC
In addition to the new hospital itself, a new residential area is being built up around the hospital as well.

5. RAT Tram Depot Completed
The Ravenholm Area Transportation (RAT) depot in Tuchanka ward has been completed and now serves as a parking facility for the city’s public tram network.

6. New fire station in Rannoch
The FDRC has built a new fire station in Rannoch ward, it has four engine bays for fire engines.

7. Ravenholm City Air Ambulance Service founded
The creation of the Ravenholm City Medical Center also necessitated the creation of the Ravenholm City Air Ambulance Service (RCAAS) which has two medical helicopters at its disposal for medical care in the greater Ravenholm City region and beyond.
The RCAAS is a division of the Ravenholm City Ambulance Service.

8. Mesabrook’s first indoor shopping area opens in Rannoch
Located on the ground floor of both towers in The Twins, there is now indoor retail spaces available to lease or purchase. So far Square Creeper, Mesabrook Bell, and Greenburn Auto Repair have moved in and setup shop.

9. Mesabrook Center gets its first tenants
Square Creeper, NetherCorp, and Dengenhardt Construction Services have all opted to post their central offices at Mesabrook Center.

North Port, Mesabrook’s Entertainment Hub

North Port is a city that has rapidly evolved into a vibrant and dynamic community. The Chargers have earned a reputation for their high-scoring, high-energy style of play, and the fans can always count on them to deliver thrilling matchups win or lose. North Port’s football culture extends beyond just the stadium, though. The Chargers are deeply embedded in the local community, engaging in numerous charitable activities, youth football programs, and educational initiatives. They’re more than just athletes; they’re role models and community leaders. The Chargers have a profound impact on North Port’s identity. The city rallies around them, and are the pride and joy of the bustling city.

There is more to North Port than just football however. North Port’s “Port Strip,” is a bustling avenue of lights and entertainment venues.
